1. Physicochemical properties. Appearance and properties: colourless to white glass-like solid; melting point: 1000 ℃; relative density (water = 1): 2.95; solubility: dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid.

2. Health Hazards. Accidental ingestion can cause acute gastroenteritis symptoms, long-term inhalation of the dust of this product can cause pneumoconiosis and fluorosis. The decomposition product hydrogen fluoride is irritating.
3. Hazardous Characteristics. Heat, contact with acid or acid mist will release highly toxic fumes.
4. Leakage Emergency Response. Isolate the leaking contaminated area and restrict access. Emergency response personnel are advised to wear dust masks and hazmat suits. Do not come into direct contact with the spill. Small amount of leakage: sweep up carefully and transfer to a safe place. Large amount of leakage: collect and recycle or transport to waste disposal place for disposal.
