1. Physical and chemical properties. Appearance and properties: light green amorphous powder; Melting point: 200°C (decomposition); Relative density (water = 1):4.0; Solubility: insoluble in water, soluble in acid, ammonia, etc.
2. Health Hazards. Harmful by inhalation, ingestion. Irritating to eyes, skin, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Inhalation of copper carbonate fume can cause metal fume fever, liver and kidney damage and haemolysis. Prolonged inhalation can cause fibrous tissue proliferation in the lungs.
